Tizzy von Treben is an incredibly sweet 6 year old German Shepherd mix. (we've been told she's part Golden Retriever). This friendly girl is ready to find a forever family to share her love and enthusiasm for life. Her prior owners weren't able to keep her, but only had good things to say, including how loving she is. She has lived comfortably with babies, toddlers and older kids, being "super sweet" and showing gentleness and great energy regulation around them. She's also lived with cats and has been good around dogs of all sizes, as well as having good manners in the home. At the rescue, Tizzy is an eager greeter who walks well alongside other dogs. In playgroups, she mingles well with dogs while focusing her affectionate attention on her human companions, happily going from person to person for pets and sitting close by. If you're looking for a loyal, family-friendly girl who bonds quickly and would happily join you on any adventure, Tizzy is eager to be right by your side. She is such a well-balanced dog, readily adjusting as her circumstances have radically changed. She happily squeezed into a small private plane with some other dogs heading to Westside from the Central Valley - to her it was all a wonderful adventure!
